THERAPY FOR KIDS AND TEENS

It's a tough time to be a kid.

Michelle works with kids and teens who are struggling with grief and loss, or attachment trauma.  Kids communicate through behavior. Difficult behaviors can indicate that a child feels anxious, sad, or badly about themselves. They can also result from traumatic experiences. I help kids and teens understand their feelings and their behaviors.  I also work with parents who want to understand and respond to your child's behaviors and emotions.

Some examples grief and loss that may be difficult for children include death/suicide of family member, medical diagnosis, divorce, moving or changing schools, adoption, and injuries that impact their ability to do activities.  Take a look at the page on grief and loss to learn more if your child is affected by grief and loss.
